Invitation and promotion materials for Attack Theatre’s Rock Paper Sizzle Event. I am particularly pleased with the invitation, all hand cut and assembled, the recipient pulls the boa from the top of the box which reveals the two artistic directors with a message to join in the fun.

Straw Opera Vimeo Showcase Covers

This is a new, minimal way for storytelling. It will be a subscription offering of one story a week and some fun extras throughout the year for birthdays and holidays. It combines writing, editing, sound and music design, animation, and laser cutting. All wrapped in a package that looks good on the shelf, made of renewables and when combined with the latest tech, serves up a nice bedtime story. Duration is about a minute and a half on average. I hire real talent for the storytelling voiceovers.

Construction Junction: Powered by People Fueled with Beer

Construction Junction promotes sustainability through the reuse of building materials. This interactive display was designed to be powered by festival attendees during their annual BIG POUR Beer Fest to highlight some of the favorite gems found at CJ, like toilets, light fixtures and doors. (The original headline show, but I like the alliteration of, “Powered by People …”)

Pumpkin-O-Graph

An internal agency pumpkin carving contest. I was happy to take first place. I wrote it with Vincent Price’s voice in mind and used a Dremel to carve it in a mirror image for printing.

3 times 3 is fortune’s fate. If the clock strikes 11, you’ll be 2 late. And one more hour will open Hell’s gate. For midnight is high time to settle your fate. All foul ghouls will be on the loose, chanting a-loud, ”Stretch the spine! Tighten the noose!” So stow your treats and go to bed early. For the last thing you’ll hear – faint but surely- From all 9 Rooftops the spirits will scream, “Have a ghoulishly happy and safe Halloween!”

New Hazlett Theater / Salon 6

Invitation and materials with illustrations done in various inks. Salon 6 was a great event to support the New Hazlett introducing attendees to 6 unique performances never before seen. I gave the original illustrations to one of the event organizers and they are still hanging on the walls of his home.
